The Answer & The Question

Two posters — originally worn as a sandwich board — created during a workshop with Experimental Jetset at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. The Answer, a poem written by Bei Dao, was used 20 years ago in the Tiananmen Square. The poem is a symbol of protest, one that begs the reader to question the actions of those in charge. The companion poster, The Question, illustrates the scenarios of George H.W. Bush’s first year in office as President of the united states comparing that to the situations of our current President, Barack Obama. The idea is that no matter what the sitation, looking for questions and answers from the people in power is a needed exercise.
