British design website mydeco.com, French designer Philippe Starck and Belgian 3D printing company Materialise.MGX are launching Pure Creativity, a new competition that offers young design students from all over the world the chance to create innovative and practical objects for the home using the latest 3D printing technology and win £1,000 also the chance to feature in an article in idFX Magazine with Philippe Starck.
Are you a budding design student who would love to see your design produced as a 3D object? Would you relish the chance to show industry experts your portfolio? The design team at mydeco devised this competition with Philippe Starck while meeting at his Paris office. Pure Creativity Competition would break the current boundaries of design and creativity and would give young talent the opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and making.
To win this competition you will have to create an innovative, intelligent and practical object that is inspired by the new opportunities created by three dimensional stereo lithographic technology.The competition is open to design students worldwide, between the ages of 18 and 25. The winner will see his/her 3D model made into a prototype using the stereolithographic process with MGX. He/She will also win £1,000 cash and have the opportunity to get an article with Philippe Starck in idFX Magazine.
