The man who drives the change in electronic dance music, Sasha (a.k.a. Alexander Coe) is the DJ that rode in on a tidal wave of adoration from the North of England’s explosive early 90’s club scene and has for the last 10+ years consistently sold out every venue, festival, and club that has been honored to witness his legendary performance abilities. Sasha’s evolution from small club DJ to solo artist to DJ icon in many ways reflects the evolution of house music itself. Today Sasha is recognized as one of the worlds`most innovative icons of the electronic genre.
Sasha´s legendary status was cemented when he changed the game by delivering arguably one of the best and most forward thinking mixes, when the Grammy nominated “Involver” came out in the summer of 2004. It’s been 4 years and the wait is over. One of the best albums of the year 2008, Sasha’s Invol2ver is out. It has been the most anticipated sequel in electronic music. False tracklistings, fake audio torrents and even doctored artwork have propelled Invol2ver into a trainspotter’s mystery. Devoted fans have waited for the follow up to the release that redefined the DJ mix. In between writing and producing 3 original songs for this release, several club singles, scoring a surf film, composing music for TV shows such as CSI, and his hectic yearly globe trotting tour schedule, Sasha worked on and completed Invol2ver.
Invol2ver Standart Edition CD, features Sasha’s unique re-workings of musical giants such as Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Ray LaMontagne as well as formidable electronic artists Apparat, Ladytron and M83 while Invol2ver Limited Edition CD comes equipped with a second CD of Sasha remix exclusives.
