PNAU is one of Australia’s most respected electronic music groups, has been around for over ten years, performed at festivals and parties. Pnau’s Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes, backs up their reputation with their self titled third album ‘PNAU’, which all stems from receiving Australia’s top music gong in 1999, an Aria Award, in the electronic category for their debut release Sambanova. The new album started with a huge amount of “album of the year” type reviews; the dance-pop songs even caught the ear of Sir Elton John who declared the record to be the best Australian album released in ten years.
On ‘PNAU’ not only will you hear Nick’s vocal talents, you’ll also hear, Pip Brown aka Ladyhawke, The Sleepy Jackson’s Luke Steele, Michael De Francesco from Van She and Nik Yiannikas from Lost Valentinos. Mr. Oizo and Feadz of Ed Banger Records fame worked closely with PNAU on the first single release ‘Wild Strawberries’. The album was mixed by Sam Littlemore (Timbaland of Australian dance music) who has worked with Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado and Black Eyed Peas while James Littlemore has exerted his seasoned creative direction over the entire project.
PNAU’s, latest and self-titled album ‘PNAU’ is available on iTunes and on amazon.com.
