Envisioned by developer Robert Wennett and designed by world-renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron,1111 will be debut Fall 2008 as an ever-evolving building within an ever-evolving city. All muscle without clothing, according to Jacques Herzog, 1111 will reinterpret the essence of Tropical Modernism, crisp structures and ocean-liner planes with an original modern twist. Angular exterior cutouts will allow natural light and the Miami landscape within, infusing retail, residential, creative commercial space and parking with dynamic energy.
